Historically, Marine infantry units have been the backbone of the corps. Slogans like "bullets don't fly without supply" are cute, but we were locating, closing with, and destroying long before the bean counters were given clipboards and pocket protectors.
The infantry, comprised of the best this country has to offer, has done more for the USA in any conflict than the criminals who have sent them off to fight battles only a few of them had the stones to fight themselves.
So, as a tribute to 03's from all eras, this one is for you!
